My Moment With Billy

If you read the DomMoment and the ElijahMoment you found lots of detail. You aren't going to find very much Billy detail here.

We thought the event started fairly late and we had time to relax Sat morning. Ala was looking through the program and realized we were wrong and had to run for me  to get there in time for the photo shoot. She dropped me off in the front and I ran down to the room where they were taking pictures.

I have been exposed to an allergen that has caused a reactive asthma and I got so nervous I could NOT breath. I used both inhalers I had in my purse. Then I started coughing, that "she has some horrible disease cough". I finally got the coughing under control after I was inside of the curtain. My eyes were tearing and my carefully applied make was smeared, so I had to rely on a tiny little mirror on the side of my lip gloss to straighten my eye makeup.

When we were standing in line. The girl that was next to me was saying how upset she was about her picture with Dom being so out of focus and I put in my two cents worth. I am very loud and opinionate and more than happy to share my opinion with others. I said that this picture had better come out good, 'cause I was ready to throw a fit. I am from the south and I can tell you southern women can throw flying ring-tailed fits. I have gotten thrown out of better places than the ORC.

When I was next in line the man running the line told me to take the lanyard off. (Lanyard - A cord worn around the neck, used by sailors for attaching a knife.) We didn't have a knife we had a big plastic holder with our seat number on it. I pulled it up over my head and waited. The girl in front of me left and I just stood there like a lump. The line guy told me to go ahead and I just went brain dead. Then Billy said something to me I am not sure exactly what, but something encouraging me to come over. He was using that voice and manner you use when you are trying to feed a squirrel in the park. I just stood there. The line man said something and I finally became conscious and went over. I was so embarrassed I know I was blushing because my face stings when I blush and it was stinging.

I sat down and told him the CD had messages from fans on it and that I didn't print them out because of the paper. He said something nice. My mind is completely blank, I know he was talking, I remember the accent and that's all. I asked if he would hold Thrania's bear and said he would. I have no idea if I said anything else to him or not. I am such a level head person it was so unlike me to go completely brain dead.

When I put my arm around him for the photo. He grabbed my shoulder and hugged me really tight. Not hurt tight. More like I am glad to see you tight. It was confusing. Everyone has an idea of how they expect a celebrity to act and this wasn't it. He was warm and unassuming.

We sat there looking at the camera and the camera guy sat there for a long second then said, "Are you ready." I said yes and he took the picture. I don't have any memory of what happened after that. I know I got the bear back cause it is in the Elijah and Sean pics. I have no idea if he said anything to me or if I said anything to him.

You should have heard me bragging to Ala that the camera man heard me complaining and took his time with the picture.

The picture came back and I all but died! (See Crack Hobbit Magazine.) When I pulled the lanyard over my head my dress came unbuttoned.  My dress was open in the picture. I do mean open! My lily white breast was completely exposed. My bra is low cut and only covers the nipple and you can see the bra. Ala just about wet herself, she thought it was hilarious. (I didn't.)  She  cackled "I can see your bra!" and I do mean cackle her great aunt was the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz and she has the cackle down perfectly. Two weeks later when I was trying to fall asleep and wondering if my dress was open when I leaned over to hand Billy the CD, I realized that the photographer probably paused because he was trying to decide whether or not to tell me I was half undressed.

The Autograph Line

Billy was the first person in the line, then Elijah and Sean was on the end. Billy is adorable. He  said how are you or something like that. I love, love, love his accent. I started blabbering.  I told him I got so nervous before I had my picture taken with him that I had an asthma attack and he said, "That's not good." Then I told him he very funny on stage and I would like to see him do stand up comedy. Then I just wandered over to Elijah in a daze.

This  is where I get weird. Before you ask, yes, I live in California, the world capital for weird people. I am a level headed person, I believe 2+2 is 4.  Math and Science are my best subjects. I am a computer geek. Programming a computer just makes sense to me. I have been told I am jaded.  I would make fun of anyone that said what I am about to say.

This might be the only time I will be serious on this website.

Aura - A distinctive air or quality enveloping or characterizing a person.

I don't remember what I said to Billy or he said to me, but do remember the impression I got from him. I have never met a person with an aura until I met Billy. He has this "Touched By Angel" thing going on. He has freshness about him that is almost visible. Even though I only saw him for a short time, there was an openness and honesty about him that was imprinted on my brain. He seemed to radiate happiness.

I wanted to go home with him. (Okay, okay. I admit I wanted to go home with him before I met him, but now I want to go home with him a clean way. )
